Nik Airina, a Malaysian aged 45, is the Chief Operating Officer of PLUS Expressways and a Director of KLBK. Prior to her promotion as Chief Operating Officer in June 2006, she was Senior General Manager of the Company's Planning and Development Division.
Nik Airina has more than 20 years experience in the development, implementation and operation of toll highways. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami in 1985 and later, her Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the same university. She served as a Teaching Assistant at the university's Civil Engineering Department before starting her career as an Engineer at Beiswenger, Hoch and Associates, an engineering firm in Florida.
She joined Pengurusan Lebuhraya Berhad (now known as OPUS International (M) Berhad) where she was mainly involved in the design and construction of the North-South Expressway. Upon completion of the project, she moved to Pengurusan Lantas Berhad and subsequently headed its Special Projects Division. She joined PLUS in 2001.
Nik Airina is a Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation (IHT) UK, and serves on the committee of IHT Malaysia. She is also Malaysia's representative for the World Road Association's (PIARC) Technical Committee on Road Network Operation.
Tan Hwee Thian, is the Director, Legal and Secretarial, of UEM Group Management Sendirian Berhad and the Joint Company Secretary of PLUS Expressways. He has been the Secretary of the Company since its incorporation on 29 January 2002. He is also the Joint Company Secretary of UEM Group Berhad, UEMWorld Berhad and other companies in the UEM Group. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, United Kingdom, a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom, and a Chartered Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Noor Meiza Ahmad, was appointed as the Joint Company Secretary of PLUS Expressways on 2 December 2009. She has more than fourteen (14) years corporate experience in providing legal advice on commercial transactions, company secretarial matters, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property registration, due diligence and mergers and acquisitions. Noor Meiza is a licensed Company Secretary since 1998 and she was the former Company Secretary and Head of Legal Services Department of MISC Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd.
Muhammad Fadzil, 49, was appointed on 13 July 2007 as the President Director of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya, PLUS Expressways' subsidiary in Indonesia. He is also a nominee of PLUS Expressways on the Board of Directors of PLUS BKSP and was formerly the Senior General Manager and Head of the Business Development Department of PLUS Expressways.
Muhammad Fadzil graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New SouthWales, Sydney, in 1982. In 2002, he obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
From 1983 to 1996, Muhammad Fadzil worked as an Engineer at the Public Works Department following which he joined LINKEDUA as a Contract Manager. In July 2000, he was transferred to ELITE as the General Manager in charge of Operations and Engineering. In September 2003, he was transferred to PLUS Expressways as the Head of the Business Development Department.
Azmee, 45, was appointed as the Operations Director of PLUS BKSP in December 2007.
He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building (Distinction) from the Glasgow College of Technology, Building and Printing (now known as Caledonian University). He started his career with Ingebeck (M) Sdn Bhd, a contractor involved in the construction of high-rise buildings and houses in the Klang Valley.
Azmee joined PLUS in September 1991 and served the Company in various capacities relating to projects and operations until 2004. He then moved to ELITE and LINKEDUA as General Manager prior to his transfer to PLUS BKSP.
